Thompson Okanagan Lakers are your 2023-2024 BCEHL Champions

Such a great weekend and close, competitive matches saw the Lakers come out on top, winning game 3 of the BCEHL championship series 2-1 over The Fraser Valley Rush Sunday at Langley Twin Rinks. The whole series was close with the Rush winning game one 2-3 and then the Lakers in the do or die game, winning out 1-0. The final and deciding game had the Lakers emerge as the Champions! The Thompson Okanagan Crew has not held a BCEHL Championship since 2011 when they were still the Rockets, and are excited to host the U18AAA National Championships The Esso Cup next month in Vernon! Thanks to all the players, families, fans, coaches and support staff for a great season so far!
